8/22 (Friday): Tryouts after school — 3:15–5:00 PM
Final cuts made by the end of practice

*If a player cannot attend the open gym session, it will not count against their tryout evaluation. If a student must miss the official tryout dates, they will be given three days of tryouts upon return. If you miss tryout dates, you must inform the coaches before tryouts begin.

Tryouts will take place over the course of five days. We will assess overall athleticism, individual skills (mechanics and accuracy), and observe players in game-like situations and scrimmages. Players will also be evaluated on sportsmanship and character, as these are essential qualities for all Delta Woods athletes. If a player misses one of the official tryout dates, we will do our best to make up the individual skill assessments, but we cannot make up the live-play time missed

IMPORTANT: Players must have a complete and current physical uploaded to PowerSchool before they can participate in tryouts. If a player does not have a current physical on file, they will be sent home.

(Link to upload to PowerSchool coming soon)
